Prayers for the Holy Father

To be said after the Rosary:

V: Let us pray for our Pontiff, Pope Benedict.
R: The Lord preserve him, and give him life, and make him to be blessed upon the earth, and deliver him not up to the will of his enemies.

Our Father....Hail Mary...

Let us pray:

Almighty and everlasting God, have mercy upon Thy servant, Benedict, our Supreme Pontiff, and direct him, according to Thy loving-kindness, in the way of eternal salvation; that, of Thy gift, he may ever desire that which is pleasing unto Thee and may accomplish it with all his might. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Walburga

O holy virgin, Saint Walburga, by God's mercy you give comfort to the sick and helpless who implore your help, and you recommend them to your Divine Spouse. He is the Good Samaritan Who was moved with pity for the sick. He is the Divine Physician Who can heal all.

Lead me also to Him and obtain for me deliverance from the troubles that afflict me. Be my consoler and helper for I believe that if it be God's will, you can assist me. With heart full of confidence, I ask this favor of you and when you have helped me I will not cease to give thanks to you, O blessed Saint Walburga, and to give praise to Almighty God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
